IBS And Allergies by Jane Thurnell-Read

Irritable bowel syndrome, which is also known as spastic colon, affects a lot of people. A 2004 study published in the academic journal "Gut" suggested the foods that are most likely to be implicated in this distressing condition.

IBS is a combination of intermittent abdominal pain and irregular bowel habits, involving constipation, diarrhoea or both in the absence of other diagnosed disease. The study in the journal Gut suggested that yeast was the main culprit, with wheat, peas, cashew nuts, almonds, barley, beef and soya also being frequent problems.

Unfortunately I seem to have lost the exact reference to the article, but I still thought it was worth bringing to your attention.

My Energy Mismatch book explains how to correct allergy problems, and is suitable for anyone who has a procedure for testing for allergies.

Also take a look at the irritable bowel syndrome case studies on our sister web site Health & Goodness.
