Stimulating Existing Clients by Jane Thurnell-Read

Many practitioners seem to believe that being a successful practitioner is all about technique, but this is far from the truth. Having good business skills is very important too.

Keeping existing clients is much easier than attracting new clients. Hopefully they already have a positive experience of you, but new clients have to be convinced. With existing clients you may only ned to refresh their memory about your existence. So, if you go on a training course or you read a new book, or get a new insight some other way, think about which of your clients this might help. Give sign up here for our free therapist listingthem a ring or send them a letter setting out why you think they might now benefit from an appointment with you. Most clients really appreciate that, even though they may not have seen you for some months, you still think about them. They do not see this as being pushy or aggressive salesmanship.
