Getting Referrals

Encouraging Referrals by Jane Thurnell-Read

Most people like to be recognised for what they do, and we can use that to stimulate client referrals.

When a new client comes to see you, always check how they found you, as this can be useful information in planning a marketing strategy.

They will probably really appreciate this, and it may well stimulate them to recommend more people. (Do check with the new client first that they don't mind their friend/colleague knowing they took their advice.)
